My journey from UX designer to business transition guide began with a pivotal question: “What in your life needs to die to make space for something new to be born?” This led me to an unconventional entrepreneurial path—buying into The Transition Strategists, where I’m becoming President in 2025. As both a successor in my own family enterprise and a certified XChange facilitator, I bring unique insights into the challenges faced by individuals navigating significant transitions.
I specialize in creating psychologically safe environments where multi-generational families can explore complex transition dynamics. My approach combines human-centered design principles with facilitation techniques that help clients balance preserving legacy while embracing innovation. I’m particularly passionate about guiding next-generation leaders through the transformations required for successful transitions while maintaining family harmony.
Through The Transition Strategists and my podcast “Your Next Gen Friend,” I help people transform business successions into opportunities for deeper connection. My work focuses on helping clients navigate identity beyond their business roles, design purposeful next chapters, and build meaningful relationships while honoring family legacies. I believe in balancing data with humanity, creating authentic spaces where people can have the conversations that matter most during times of change.

Motivated, curious, and deeply thoughtful, Andrea is an invaluable member of any design team. She has a natural knack for facilitation and collaboration, and her conceptual design skills are second to none. It was a privilege to have Andrea on my team at AstraZeneca, where she planned and executed design efforts on our most complex and ambitious enterprise products. She’s an absolute joy to work with, and I hope to work with her again.
Andrea is an extremely interesting and grounded individual. She is fearless, yet there is not a trace of arrogance or over-confidence in her demeanor. Andrea understands and values the learning that takes place from working with others.
