I’m a wife and a mom of four adult children who have blessed me with eight grandkids. I’m the owner/facilitator of Creative Peak Retreats – a retreat center designed to serve creatives. I’m also an author of thriller suspense crime fiction and run my author business.
In my past I’ve been a Marine Corps wife, I’ve run a equine assisted therapy business called Horses Healing Hearts, I’ve been a youth pastor, and the owner of a fruit smoothie shop.
I think of myself as a constant learner and a serial entrepreneur!

Jodi Burnett champions creativity and imagination! Not only has she inspired me to be creative, she supports me in my creative adventures. She's an encouraging voice to new and sometimes wild ideas, always finding ways they CAN happen and never saying they can’t. Jodi has even shaped how I raise my littles ones as I foster their imagination and creativity at every opportunity.
Jodi is an authentic creative lightening rod. Her words of encouragement, in developing my own writing talent, always come just when I need them the most, and her inspirational message always echos that “creative ability isn’t reserved for just a few.”
Time spent with Jodi is like visiting with a trusted and wonderful friend. She exudes joy for her work, and instills confidence in me any time I feel that doubt monster creeping back in. Jodi has put me back in touch with my creative self-care, and she keeps me mindful of the need to make filling my creative well a daily practice. So grateful for Jodi!
